What This Blog is About

This is a blog about theology.  More centrally, it is a blog about theology in and of the church.  I write from the presupposition that the church is the place in the world wherein women and men come to participate in the life of the Triune God.  I spend most of my writing time trying to tease out what it means for the church to be the place where we come to inhabit the riches of God’s being which is given for us in the mission(s) of Christ and the Spirit in our world.  Along the way I often find myself critiquing culture, politics, and much of contemporary church life in the West today.
